About Us

Kathy and Matt Buccieri opened Buccieri's GEMS & JEWELRY on November 11, 2005, with a vision to create a welcoming and knowledgeable haven for customers seeking a stunning array of jewelry and gift items. Their commitment extended beyond business, as they aimed to become active contributors to their community. Over the years, they've joyfully sponsored numerous teams within the Jefferson Recreation Department, contributed to various fundraising events in the Oak Ridge area, organized fundraisers for Jewelers for Children, collected gifts for a local battered women's shelter and engaged in other philanthropic endeavors. "We believe it's our privilege and our duty to give back to the community that has played such an important role in our success," they emphasized.

Before embarking on their journey with Buccieri's GEMS & JEWELRY, Kathy and Matt both gained valuable experience working at Tiffany & Co. Kathy held several diverse roles within the Service Awards Department, while Matt made his mark in the Quality Assurance Department and the Gemstone Acquisition Department.

It was in the Quality Assurance Department where Matt honed in on his expertise as a Graduate Gemologist by assessing gemstones and ensuring that the highest quality standards were met. Upon being promoted to Manager of the Colored Stone Buying Department, Matt had the opportunity to travel the world in pursuit of the finest and most exceptional gemstones in the industry. He also had the privilege of visiting state-of-the-art gemstone cutting facilities in Germany and Thailand where he witnessed the transformation of rare gemstones into the exquisite finished products that grace today's market.

Celebrating their 19th anniversary, Matt and Kathy remain dedicated to offering a unique and beautiful selection of jewelry at Buccieri's GEMS & JEWELRY. They are confident that their extensive collection will cater to every customer, whether it's a last-minute gift, a top-quality gemstone or a custom-designed piece of jewelry.
